10 Last Minute Blog Post Ideas

Let's face it, every once in a while, we all encounter writing blocks, and finding inspiration on what to write about isn't always easy. And don't worry, that's completely common. Keeping an active blog doesn't always mean the content in it is interesting, so it's definitely a challenge to try to keep a blog active and interesting simultaneously.  Here is a list of ten of *interesting ideas/prompts you might want to try (completely opinionated! haha).

My favourite thing about blogging is, as weird as it may sound, the sound the keyboard makes when I hit a bunch of keys at the same time; it feels sort-of soothing to me, and I'm not really sure why. I mean, surely I should feel the same way whenever I'm typing away as I'm chatting with someone, but oddly enough, I don't seem to get the same satisfaction. I guess it's because blogging comes with sort-of a release for the mind- completely free and wandering, and that's exactly how I feel right now.

It felt like when Christmas break ended, so did days of just lounging around and having time to simply reflect went along with it. Two weeks into school, and already mentally drained. Phew! Thank God it's Thursday! Chemistry has left me hanging on a single thread of sleep. I swear, nothing can get me more worked out than preparing for a Chemistry test.

Aloha, earthling! Happy New Year! How's 2015 going so far for you? It might sound like a cliche, but time seriously goes by so fast! Next thing you know, school's starting again, and it's goodbye Christmas break. ugh. Who wants that? 

I don't really get into New Years Resolutions, and the only New Years Resolution I have for my dear ole blog is to post more often. And also to make more personal/lifestyle themed posts, rambles, thoughts and whatnots. I know what you're thinking, this site is named Truly yours, Kyle, I mean, how much more personal can it get, right? haha. I don't know either. Anyway, here's fifty completely random & useless facts about yours truly!

It felt like the usual Holiday cheer was somewhat lacking this year, though it's normal I suppose considering I'm spending my Christmas in a widely Islamic country. It's just that usually(aka the past three years in Riyadh), I'd get super excited about the holidays, and well, this year, I didn't, not so much, that is. And that makes me incredibly excited for Christmas next year because I'll be spending it in the Philippines! That's right folks, first Christmas in the Philippines in four years! I've missed it so much. Nothing can compare to the dazzling bright lights, gigantic Christmas trees(usually twice as big as me!), cheery carols, adorned houses embellished with Christmas decorations and Christmas shopping(of course!) in the Philippines. 

I still can't believe 2015 is just around the corner! Time flies by so fast, so fast I can't keep up! Next year, I'll be fifteen and a 10th grader, and I have no idea what else will come. But, like they say, just shut up, and enjoy the moment. Happy Holidays everyone, and I hope you had a wonderful 2014!

Are you familiar with this site known as Pinterest? I'm pretty sure you all know how the site works and such, so I won't go into detail. But lately, I've been obsessed with that site! I've just been searching non-stop for basically random things, but mostly I had my eyes on the DIY section. Seriously though, all the projects looked so fun to make, and it has inspired me to create a little series on here. Aaaaand, it's known as: Pin it, Do it! I know, I know-very original title. I've also been stalking(yes, stalking) a bunch of DIY-themed blogs lately, and some had this series, and they've also inspired me to start it. Since I'm no good at doing artsy-things, I figured I'd do a little twist on this series. In the end of every post, I'll be adding a score-card(check out the bottom of the post to see!).

Happy Saudi National Day!

Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful day! If you didn't know, today is Saudi National Day! And because of this holiday, we don't have school today. This would be the last time I'll experience a holiday on September 23s, so I wanted to make a quick little post about it.
