PHILIPPINES 2015: ENCHANTED KINGDOM

the magic lives on...

Guess what, guess what?! Yesterday, my family and I headed off to Enchanted Kingdom! Okay, it's probably not a big deal to most Filipinos, but it was actually my first time there which is surprising because I love, and I mean love amusement parks(don't you?)!

The first ride that I got on was the Jungle Log Jam with two of my (oh-so-little) cousins; my sister and another one of my cousins went on after us and rode on another log. Truth be told, it felt like the ride was a short one, but we still enjoyed it. The log is lifted up and runs down a slope before slashing into the water! Thankfully, we weren't entirely soaked, but our clothes did get a little wet.

We went on a ride called the Air Race next. The ride consisted of six planes that can seat four passengers each. As the ride's theme song started to play, the planes each started to dive and rotate 180 and 360 degrees! This was a crazy one! I'll admit there were a lot more unflattering shots of us on the ride, but I went against putting them on because I made these weird faces that I'm sure no one really wants to see! haha. And another thing I'll admit is my eyes were closed like 50% of the ride(I promise they weren't entirely closed!), and I looked pretty much like a frightened 7 year old, but bear with me, I'm acrophobic, and I'm still getting used to rides, which is also surprising because I'd just mentioned something about loving amusement parks.

I seriously wish we'd taken more photos! Everything was uber pretty(plus they all make for a great instagram picture! *wink wink* haha)!

The Rio Grande Rapids was up next on our list. Basically, there were these circular rafts and each raft could seat 8 people. My three cousins, my sister and I went on the ride, and man, did we get soaked! The other three people we were with were actually the ones that got soaked the most, but my cousin and I were close seconds(or fourths and fifths, I guess! haha). While I became a victim of the waterfalls, my two other cousins and my sister didn't get wet that much. Also, I apologize for the blurry shots!

And since we already got wet on the Rio Grande Rapids, we settled on the Bump N' Splash next. There were a bunch of other rides that we went on too like the Flying Fiesta, the Wheel of Fate and more, and they were a lot of fun too.

The last ride we got on was the Grand Carousel. By that point, we were all pretty much tired and were ready to call it a day.

Aaaaand that's it! If you've just read all of that, then I salute you! Also, I'm pretty sure this will be my last post about my vacation. For the past few days, all I've really been doing was traveling a bit, visiting some of my relatives and going to malls and such; and as you may've noticed they're not really interesting topics to blog about.

And you may have also noticed how my family and I didn't go out of town or do anything exciting like that (flying to the Philippines doesn't count! haha), and that's actually because of two things: a. since my whole family has been living in Riyadh four the past four years, we currently don't have a family car in the Philippines. And no car means limitations on where we go, it also sets the boundary between where we want to go and where we could go. Traffic is really heavy here which makes commuting even harder. If you've read my last post, I mentioned something about 'car stuff', you can guess what that means! Seriously can't wait to post more photojournals about my next vacations in the Philippines! and(going back) b. My dad and I will only be home for 19 days! Well, actually it's less than 10 days right now. But I sincerely appreciate how we're even able to be home for 19 days seeing as how some people can't even go home. After those 19 days, my dad and I are set to go back to Riyadh. My mom and my sister will be staying in the Philippines so my sister can pursue college. But I'll fear not, I'll be back before I know it!

Which amusement park have you been dying to visit?
