Happy Holidays!

It felt like the usual Holiday cheer was somewhat lacking this year, though it's normal I suppose considering I'm spending my Christmas in a widely Islamic country. It's just that usually(aka the past three years in Riyadh), I'd get super excited about the holidays, and well, this year, I didn't, not so much, that is. And that makes me incredibly excited for Christmas next year because I'll be spending it in the Philippines! That's right folks, first Christmas in the Philippines in four years! I've missed it so much. Nothing can compare to the dazzling bright lights, gigantic Christmas trees(usually twice as big as me!), cheery carols, adorned houses embellished with Christmas decorations and Christmas shopping(of course!) in the Philippines. 

I still can't believe 2015 is just around the corner! Time flies by so fast, so fast I can't keep up! Next year, I'll be fifteen and a 10th grader, and I have no idea what else will come. But, like they say, just shut up, and enjoy the moment. Happy Holidays everyone, and I hope you had a wonderful 2014!

Last Hajj vacation, I went to Ikea and managed to grab a few things. This is a post long overdue, and I haven't been able to put up posts because I've been occupied with school works, but I'll try to blog as much as I can(*fingers crossed!*). Are you familiar with this site known as Pinterest? I'm pretty sure you all know how the site works and such, so I won't go into detail. But lately, I've been obsessed with that site! I've just been searching non-stop for basically random things, but mostly I had my eyes on the DIY section. Seriously though, all the projects looked so fun to make, and it has inspired me to create a little series on here. Aaaaand, it's known as: Pin it, Do it! I know, I know-very original title. I've also been stalking(yes, stalking) a bunch of DIY-themed blogs lately, and some had this series, and they've also inspired me to start it. Since I'm no good at doing artsy-things, I figured I'd do a little twist on this series. In the end of every post, I'll be adding a score-card(check out the bottom of the post to see!).

Happy Saudi National Day!

Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful day! If you didn't know, today is Saudi National Day! And because of this holiday, we don't have school today. This would be the last time I'll experience a holiday on September 23s, so I wanted to make a quick little post about it.

Chocolate Shake Recipe + URL Change Alert!

If you know me personally, you'd know how obsessed I am with anything flavored chocolate.. The canteen in my school started selling chocolate shakes recently, and I've been craving for one since. If I buy something(food), and I end up liking it, I'd probably spend all of my money to buy more of it, and since I'm trying to spend less, I haven't bought and tried a single chocolate shake from the canteen yet. So I've decided to create my own! I didn't even had to spend much because all of the ingredients I've used for this recipe were already in my kitchen(and probably in yours too!) Let's get started!

What's in My School Bag?

It's the back-to-school season for a lot of you out there. Let the cramming begin, right? Actually, I started going to school last Junes since school months goes from June to March in the Philippines, and although I live in Riyadh, I'm studying in a school for Filipinos. So far, 9th grade has been a bit stressful for me because of Chemistry alone. When my family and I went to the Philippines to have our vacation last April, I've noticed some people(mostly in groups) carrying around monopods and taking 'groupies'. Monopods have been popular since last year(I think), but I haven't gotten one until recently. So what's so good about a monopod?

January Wrap-Up

It's been a while. (: 

What's happenin' in my  life in a nutshell:

- Math still hates me. No surprise there. Bio's being nice to me. So far.

- I'm super excited for summer break(only 2 months away!)! Hey February!

- I'm having blogger's block. I really don't know what type of posts I should do.

- I've been reading a lot of books lately. Mostly YA fantasy/contemporary novels. I made a goodreads account! The last book I've finished(which was a few hours ago, haha) was Crown of Midnight, the second book in the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. I'm already looking forward to Heir of Fire, the third book! I also just started reading Ready Player One by Ernest Cline.

- I am so excited for movie adaptations that'll come out this year! Vampire Academy will come out in a few days! Ahhhhh! I really wish I can watch it. *tear*

- The weather here just started to warm up. I'll be avoiding metals baked under the sun in a few weeks.

- I'll be cramming this week because of exams. *another tear*

- I've been stalking perfect instagram accounts. 

- Have I mentioned I'm excited for summer? I have? Well...

I'll try to post more this month and the next. Hopefully I'll be able to think of post ideas! :) Happy Valentines!
