What's in My School Bag?

It's the back-to-school season for a lot of you out there. Let the cramming begin, right? Actually, I started going to school last Junes since school months goes from June to March in the Philippines, and although I live in Riyadh, I'm studying in a school for Filipinos. So far, 9th grade has been a bit stressful for me because of Chemistry alone. May Antoine Lavoisier bless my soul. And since as I've said, it's mostly back-to-school for a lot of people, I thought it'd be fitting to the a school-related post, so without a further ado, I bring you.. What's in my Bag: School Edition!

I am usually not the most organized person so I've definitely experienced those days when I get so lazy that I just stashed everything into my bag making it all bulky. It took me quite a while to organize my things for this post!

• School Bag - This is my school bag! It's actually one of the few that I often use, but it's the one I'm using for this week. Basically it's red and has a rose pattern all over it. I especially love the faux leather trim on the pockets and the buckle straps. This bag is from Claires(Riyadh), and I bought last year on sale for a thrifty price.

•  Notebooks and Memo Book - Next up are my notebooks, binder and memo book. I didn't take photos of my books, but of course I bring them to school! First off, I bring with me my math notebooks which are quite huge. If you can notice, under those two blue notebooks is a large card. That's my periodic table for Chemistry class. My owl patterned binder which is absolutely adorable is from National Bookstore(Philippines). I only use fillers for my minor subjects though. I highly suggest everyone to bring memo books or planners to school so you can quickly take notes of what you need to accomplish when you get home. This little black book has saved me so many times because I always forget about homeworks or printed outputs I need to submit.

Book ft. Coloring Pencils We all know school can become very boring at times so instead of dozing off like a lot of students do, I read a book. Right now, I'm rereading A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks. Normally, I prefer fantasy over contemporary novels, but each one of us needs a little contemporary read every once in a while.

•  Cases I literally bring so many pens I can't fit them all in a slim pouch so I introduce you to my gigantic pencil case. There's not really much to say about it really. It's red and black, and it's from National Bookstore(Philippines).
My sort-of tribal printed wallet is from Stradivarius. I've been using it for a couple of months now, and what I really like about it is it's totally spacious. There are a lot of slots for cards, and there is a pocket at the back where I can fit my spare coins.
Lastly, I've got my 'essentials' kit. My pouch is one of those free sets you get when you ride a plane, and this is from the airline Emirates

•   Calculator & Dictionary - Although we barely use calculator in my classes, we're still required to bring one just in case, and a pocket dictionary is a must for my English class.

•  Eyeglasses A lot of people think I have perfect vision, but I actually have astigmatism. I've started wearing glasses when I was in 2nd grade, and when I was in 8th grade, I started getting used to not wearing them. Now, I only use them when I find it really hard to read the writings on the board. And although I said I don't usually wear them, they're still an essential item for me to bring.

•  Girl Stuff & Gums I know, I know. We're not allowed to chew gum in class. When days come when I feel like chewing a gum, I pop one out. I also bring with me a hair brush, a hair bow, and a couple of lip products.

•  Phone Aaaand lastly, I've got my phone of course! This one is pretty much self-explanatory(like any other item in this list haha!).

And that' is all that is in my school bag! Hope you didn't find this post too boring! haha. Watch out for my next post! xx
